Luxury Villa in Ashvem Goa: A Look Inside The Ashwem Beach Home

If you’re planning New Year in Goa with family or friends, the first decision is usually where everyone will stay. Splitting a big group across hotel rooms is the usual answer. A private villa is the other one.
This post covers how a villa for New Year in Goa actually works at Villaversegoa: the sizes, what’s included, the house rules worth knowing before you plan the night itself, and why the sensible move is to ask about dates early.
Everything below comes from our own property pages, FAQ and policies. Where something depends on your dates, we say so.
A hotel gives each person or couple a room. A villa gives your whole group a house.
At The Morjim Beach Home and The Ashwem Beach Home, every booking is exclusive. No space, pool or amenity is shared with any other party during your stay. That has a few practical effects on a New Year trip:
It is a quieter kind of New Year than a club night. More on that below.
Villaversegoa runs two homes: one on Morjim Beach and one on Ashwem Beach. When a group books, the whole property is reserved for them, whichever size they choose.
That is the real reason early enquiries make sense. For any given New Year date, each home can only go to one group. Our booking page says it plainly: the villas are limited and book early.
We can’t tell you how fast New Year dates fill, because it changes every year. What we can say is that availability is confirmed for your exact dates when you enquire, and the sooner you ask, the more options you have on size and home.
Both homes can be booked in several bedroom configurations. Guest capacity is listed for each.
The Morjim Beach Home
| Bedrooms | Guest capacity |
| 4 | 9 to 10 |
| 5 | 11 to 14 |
| 9 (entire home) | 19 to 22 |
The Ashwem Beach Home
| Bedrooms | Guest capacity |
| 3 | 6 to 8 |
| 4 | 9 to 10 |
| 5 | 11 to 14 |
| 7 | 15 to 18 |
| 9 | 19 to 22 |
| 10 (entire home) | 23 to 25 |
Rates shown on the property pages are starting rates. The final quotation is confirmed for your dates, so ask for the figure for the specific nights you want.
According to our property pages and FAQ, every configuration includes:
You are also welcome to order food from outside restaurants.
A few house rules matter more on New Year than on a normal weekend. We would rather you hear them now.
Music has a cut-off: As per Goa state law, loud music and amplified sound are not permitted after 10:00 PM. Gatherings need to stay at a respectful noise level. If a late party is the whole point of your New Year, plan to go out for it. If dinner, a barbecue and midnight with your own group sounds right, the villa suits that well.
Guests are registered: The property is reserved for the registered group. Outside visitors and unregistered overnight guests are not allowed without prior written approval from our team. Photo IDs of everyone in the group are required at check-in.
Celebrations are welcome: Birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties and small private events are welcomed at both homes, and outside decorators are fine.
Pets are welcome: Up to two pets per reservation at no additional charge, with breed and size shared at booking.
Payment and cancellation. A booking is confirmed with 100% advance payment. Cancelling 30 or more days before arrival returns the full amount. Between 7 and 30 days it is 50%, and under 7 days there is no refund. Cancellation requests must be made in writing by email. The full terms are on our policies page.
No surprises on the bill: Our FAQ states there is no security deposit and no hidden charges. What is agreed at booking is what you pay.
Check-in and check-out: Check-in is at 2:00 PM and check-out at 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out depend on availability, and we ask you to coordinate at least 48 hours ahead. If you want a relaxed 1 January, ask early.
Both properties are roughly 15 to 20 km from Manohar International Airport (Mopa), which is about a 25 to 35 minute drive depending on traffic.
Both homes sit directly on their own beach, with zero-metre access. The main difference for most groups is size. Ashwem has the larger range, up to 10 bedrooms. Morjim goes up to 9.
